k·yield v. - Yield Management of Knowledge

Unleash the Innovation Within ™

Kyield Logo
Executive Summary

Kyield is a leading pioneer in advanced knowledge systems (KS). The KS umbrella covers search, business intelligence, analytics, predictive applications, semantics, knowledge management, human performance systems, social networking, and robotics.

We design and develop advanced KS technology that improves human decision making, productivity, and human-computer performance. The core of our IP is represented in part by a
recently patented AI system (Montgomery, Patent #8005778), which enables individuals, groups and organizations the ability to tailor the quality and quantity of data to their specific needs in a continually adaptable manner, based on self-managed profiles, representing a generational breakthrough in high performance computing and human-computer interaction. Several related patents are under development.

The claims covered in the patent enable very important function and value that have been impossible to achieve previously. One valuable application was recently described by our adviser Dr. Robert Neilson: “Kyield treats knowledge as capital—a factor of production in a knowledge-based economy”. As former CKO at the National Defense University and senior adviser to the U.S. Army, Rob is well positioned to appreciate the value of knowledge currency in the digital workplace. Primitive performance systems that would be greatly improved by our IP are gaining traction across the economy, representing a large opportunity for Kyield, customers and partners.

Another important value Kyield can deliver is to sharply reduce the volume, consumption, and storage of data, which is valuable for end user productivity, organizations with metered data plans, and especially telecoms. However, the most important and valuable functionality our technology enables is for management where our technology and trade craft leads the world. While the value of crisis prevention, expedited discovery, and enhanced innovation are for pragmatic purposes infinite, straight forward, and reasonably well understood by prospective customers, the importance and value of differentiation and relationship to IT is not. John Sviokla of Price Waterhouse Coopers recently
summed it up: “If you have commodity technology, you have commodity knowledge workers”. Few organizations can afford commodity knowledge workers and remain competitive in our hyper-competitive global economy. The goal of course is to optimize the digital workplace relative to each individual and organizational mission.

With the ability to manage the quantity and quality of data, tailor plug-in menus of encrypted predictive and performance algorithms to each individual, group, and/or organization, combined with workplace adaptability in a computing environment that has long-been commoditized, we expect Kyield to provide exponential improvement across the digital workplace through multiple pathways. Whether licensed as software applications or raw IP directly to sophisticated customers, embedded as infrastructure in the products of others, or applied to new stand alone products, Kyield’s systems and IP are essential to the knowledge economy and digital workplace. The world is just beginning to realize that Kyield is a must have.
