Unleash the Innovation Within™

Welcome letter from founder

Thank you for visiting our web site and taking an interest in our work at Kyield.

Our long voyage has provided a deep understanding of the complex dynamics between knowledge workers, organizations, and technology that is unique in the world. Our initial discovery has been formalized into a holistic semantic enterprise system that is so obviously needed, logical, and compelling that we are confident that it is only a matter of time before leaders seize the competitive advantage offered to early adopters.

We’ve faced significant obstacles that required testing earlier models in our lab to gain sufficient understanding before attempting to solve the most difficult problems facing the digital workplace. On the technical side, patience and perseverance have been required with a voluntary standards process for public computing transactions, and to finally see support of functional languages by an entrenched industry fiercely resistant to change. More than a decade was required for the public standards to catch up to the vision of higher level functionality on the web and in the digital workplace.

On the business side, our lab in rural Arizona faced a hostile local environment with historic over-financing in me-too competitors on the coasts during the 1990s, low levels of competency and ethics in the culture of technology and venture capital, followed by the bursting of the bubble that negatively affected everyone, including those of us who didn’t engage in unethical practices. A few years later when we finally succumbed to prevailing wisdom in relocating to Silicon Valley, a proposed merger collapsed from the weight of the financial crisis, so our journey has been long, difficult, and complex.

The good news is that Kyield is a rare breed in today’s environment and culture. Our work is not only state-of-the-art, but also genuinely authentic. We have survived through the ‘valley of death’ with a customer-centric culture intact, free from liabilities, and cash in the bank. Our voyage has provided the opportunity to talk to thousands of organizations that have influenced every aspect of our work. The result today is a system attracting wide-spread interest from prospective customers all over the world, including an impressive percentage of the world's largest organizations.

We still face challenges in the adoption phase, however, as many of our champions find their organizations locked-in to poor computing habits, yet fail to embrace enabling innovation at almost any cost. Tragically, the cost of apathy in technology is high, even if invisible to decision makers, and entirely unnecessary.

For those who share our interest in helping organizations achieve a higher level of performance, accountability, meritocracy, innovation, increased product quality, and crisis prevention by design, we look forward to hearing from you.
